Buenos Aires has a temperate climate, but keep in mind that Buenos Aires is located in South America, so the seasons are reversed. You will be arriving in summer, which means that the highs during the Assembly will be between 26ºC and 31ºC, so light clothes are recommended.

In January you can expect humid heat with warm mornings and hot afternoons and early evenings. Temperatures do drop slightly in the late evenings and at night- although, in general, not enough to call for a jacket.

Rain is common both during spring and autumn (September to December and March to June, respectively). During the summer (December, January and February), the rain is passing and light, usually in the form of drizzles, and typically doesn’t require protection other than a hat or an umbrella.
